Risk Assessment - What Can Go Wrong When Filming
Cooking Shots
Working With A Cooker
As our shots incorporate cooking, we'll actually have our actor prepare something and cook it, meaning we'll be using a lit hob. This means there is potential for people burning themselves or setting off the smoke alarm. This can be prevented by never leaving the hob on when not filming, and taking great care when using it. |
Violence And Blood
Using Fake Blood
We will obviously be using fake blood throughout, primarily in the murder sequence. There are two risks with this, firstly, if we use a edible and non edible blood, there is the possibility of mixing the two up, and filling someones mouth with washing up liquid. Secondly, Food colouring stains, so there is the potential to damage filming equipment, clothing and location. To prevent these things, we can clearly label our fake blood solutions, and anywhere there is potential to cause damage we need to clean up quickly, or cover up beforehand. |
